Several scripts are used by the peoples of Dunya Farq.
One is a Futhorc (runes), most similar to the Anglic runes used in 8th-century Britain, but with additions. This is used by dwarves and orcs.
A second is Gujaresh, used by elves and other biomancers.
For readability for gamers I use a compact calligraphic font I adapted from some uncial fonts: Dorovar.
Gujaresh is a Devanagari-system font, but I have simplified it by eliminating the stacking of combined letters. If you are can handle full Devanagari, by all means use the full version of Gujarati! For my purposes, the value is just to familiarize gamers with actual scripts from different parts of the world.
Likewise, in the Futhorc font I have placed the most common letters in the lower-case slots; long vowels and variant letter forms are placed in the upper-case letter slots. Note that Futhorc had distinct runes for long and short vowels, and a properly-spelled word would be different from one which includes a 1:1 correlation with contemporary English written with the limited 26-letter Latin alphabet. For younger kids, I strongly recommend avoiding the use of the full vowel-set.
