My statement as I cancelled my D&D Beyond subscription:
Please do a careful forensic analysis of the actual business-model you have just destroyed. Publication of the OGL in 2000 rekindled my interest in D&D. Revocation of OGL 1.0 means that my whole community will use other RP systems. D&D had gained cultural relevance precisely because of the open ecosystem in which so many of us could be contributors and participants, as well as customers.

Word has gotten out about toxic contempt of players within Wizards of the Coast. That does not match the ethic of the game we play. And the game needed to outgrow even 5th edition. This just pushes me to pick up the pace in cobbling together a better roleplaying game.
Edit: I support Paizo Publishing’s response: commissioning the System-Neutral Open RPG License, codenamed ORC. Just found out about it in the breaking news of this rolling disaster.
